Acai Bowl Ⓥ

I worked in a hippie cafe where I was introduced to this delicious acai bowl (pronounced AH-SIGH-EE). Yep, I pronounced it wrong the first time and an awkward silence pursued with my customers. Anyway, I was hooked on afterwards and decided to try to make my own.


  • 1 packet of unsweetened frozen acai puree (Sambazon) or 2 tablespoons of acai powder

  • 150 mL almond milk

  • 1 banana

  • 60 g blueberries

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) - not for vegans

Top with:

  • 20 g blueberries

  • 1/2 a kiwi

  • 1/2 small banana

  • 3 tbsp granola

  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes

Tips: Top with any fruits you love to this delicious breakfast.


  1. Combine all listed ingredients in blender and blend.

  2. Pour into a bowl and top with granola, banana, blueberries, chia seeds, coconut flakes, and any other fruit that you desire.​
